Charter One Bank somehow chrged me a huge amount of fees (similar ro many other complaints about this issue) Not able to pay the fees (and not believing I should pay the 'bogus' fees) they withheld the money from my paycheck. I wrote checks assuming my pay check was there to cover the amounts. This led to all sorts of problems in paying other bills.And it led to more bank fees.
