I have been a card holder of Emerge (through various buyouts) since 1992. I have never had a late payment. On 11/10/09 made a payment towards my December bill. On December 30, 2009 made another payment. They closed my account saying I was past due from December's payment date. They did not care that I had made a payment on 11/3 for November's payment and 11/10 for December's payment. Apparently, their bill date is 11/13(?) and they credited the 11/10 for November.
