I bought a Ridgid Lithium Ion drill less that a year ago. Loved the drill, used it sparingly, now all of a sudden it has all kinds of problems. I tried to take it back to home depot and they tell to take it to a service center over an hour away. I contacted the service center and they tell me there are all kinds of problems with the lithium ion drill and battery. Luckily ridgid has a lifetime service agreement on the drill otherwise it would be tough luck. If anybody is considering buying a Ridgid cordless power tool I would be very reluctant.
