I sent money to MetLife last year for a one year CD. Its maturity date was December 24, 2009. The money was sent by me, from my bank account via ACH. It was a VERY large amount of money. I called MetLife, as requested by them, on December 22, 2009, to ensure that my maturing CD funds would, indeed, be sent to my bank account upon maturity.
