Purchased a black cedar "hope" chest. it was a sealed undamaged carton. I took possesion as is. it was loaded in my explorer and I took it home. When I unloaded it and removed carton, I found a piece of trim lying lose in carton, the lock assembly was lose inside chest and the seal was bent in. Additional there was scratches on surface. The chest obviously left the factory in this damaged condition. it was intended to be a Christmas present and now must be reordered.
