Totally free checking? How about ripping off America with bogus fees. Recently we paid TCF over 400 dollars in over draft fees. When you call the tele-bank number it gives you, your balance including any "Pending" charges...however the telephone system and the in bank system are different. We had 14o dollars in the account one day...took out 100 at an ATM. We were over drawn 40 dollars the next day and put the money in to cover it right away.
