I notified the Texas Department of Insurance and filed a complaint for Fair market value of which I received thru The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) with a valuation rate. Since Allstate Adjusters are company generees their first offer of $1350.00 was not even in my ballpark of figures. It took me 4(four) months and a lots of brain work, but I got a settlement of $2988.00 for my 1982 Ford Thunderbird.
