I currently rent a t.v. and sofa from Rent A Center. My payment was due on wed. 10/22/08. I was not able to make a payment this week. I spoke with an associate on thurs. 10/23/08 and explained my situation and told him that I would make a double payment on wed. 10/29/08 which was never a problem since I have done that in the past. Rent A Center called me, my brother, and my parents on friday 10/24/08, sat 10/25/08, monday 10/27/08, and tueday 10/28/08 looking for a payment. Rent A Center has my cell phone number and work phone number. Are they allowed to harass my family members for a payment? A response would be greatly appreciated. read full review »
