I am a military member that contracted with Hawk Vanlines to move my household goods in the Summer of 2009. The contract was for just over $4000. The driver showed up a day late and began the scam. After showing up, the driver claimed that I had a lot more weight then I intially stated and charged me an additional $8000 for the weight and packing materials.
