We just refinanced with Wachovia. Deal was for 20 yr fixed rate at 4.875%, with Wachovia giving $2094.00 at closing. Dealing with person NC, told she'd call me with HUD info. Never did. Went to closing and Wachovia reduced their credit to $1256.00. I called the Wachovia rep I was dealing with (right there at the table at closing!) and she said she didn't know why the credit was lowered and said she'd call back.
