I purchased a Massage Envy Christmas gift card for a friend. Soon after (within 3 days) I asked for a refund, and was told only at that time that they had a "no refund policy on gift cards". At no time prior to this was I informed of their policy. It wasn't posted at the clinic where I bought the gift card and it wasn't even noted on my receit. I think it's poor business ethics to have a policy like that unless the customer is clearly informed at the time of purchase. The company doesn't seem to answer emails, either.
