I am writing to alert people about the insurance scam regarding computer insurance. I purchased insurance for about $300, for a computer valued at $750. I was told that the insurance involved replacement of product. I was expecting the type of insurance offered by Staples, and the worker told me that is what it was. However, I am now told that I will have to leave the item for repair. I am absolutely furious. I will never purchase from that store again. Horrible customer service; no value for the insurance.
