I contacted Gillece Plumbing Services for minor plumbing work estimates: (1) to replace a fill valve on one toilet and check out a shutoff valve (2) check water pressure after the Borough replaced the water meter. The estimate that followed was OUTRAGEOUS and INSULTING. The estimate for (1) was 715.15 and included replacing the shutoff valve. A subsequent plumber completed the work for 119.00 and simply adjusted the shutoff valve.
