I have been an AT&T customer for about two years. I was charged 4.99 a month for equipment insurance. When I reported my phone stolen, I was told that I had insurance and could have it replaced. Since my original phone was a Motorola V3, I was told that model was no longer being produced and was recommended a Sony Ericsson model W518a. This is one of their free give away phones for which I had to pay $50 because of the $50 deductible. I paid $59.88 a year insurance premium for two years and still had to pay for a phone.
