I have been running 30 days late on my car payment. I admit this. This happened because in November 2007 I requested a one-month extension on my car loan. I was having major surgery and my husband wanted to be with me in Nashville. With limited resources, I had to request an extension. At that time, Suntrust said NOTHING to me about having to request in writing (some form) for payments to be resumed.
