Purchased a Duet Washer/Dryer combo unit THREE years ago. Washer stopped working and had to replace it entirely. It would have cost more to fix it. The thing that gets me upset is that I THOUGHT I was purchasing a reliable, long lasting product since it cost me an arm and a leg! The washer only lasted for three years! I believe that is considered "just broken in". In my opinion, these companies do NOT want products to last for a LONG TIME anymore. Those days are gone.
