This evening I called customer service dept. regarding a $45.00 charge that apparently is now being applied to Sears charge accounts as an annual fee. My father who is 85 and very ill with Parkinson's Disease is not able to verbally say that he no longer wants the card, and even though he has not used the card for years, my mother who is able to say that they know longer need the card, was also not able to close it out over the phone.
