I filled out all of the necessary pwk to apply for the HAL (Home Affordable Loan) in March of 2009. I hadnt heard from them so I got worried because I was struggling to keep up with the adjusted loan payment. I called them to ask for an extension on the May payment. I inquired on what was taking so long for the loan to be reviewed. The rep I spoke with said she didnt know but it showed I qualified.
