The "designer tape" sold as a more costly alternative to generic duct tape due to surface designs suffers absolutely dismal performance. The plastic design layer adheres so well to the next layer's adhesive that it comes off the roll with the design stuck to the adhesive. This makes it such that you see a whitish underlayer instead of the design and there is no adhesive bottom. It's completely worthless.
