We were sold an extended warranty on our 2006 Chevy one ton. We have a garage that we work on our company vehicles in and we service our own vehicles. We're not licensed mechanics but we work on trucks all the time. The fine print in the contract stated that all maintanance had to be done by a licensed mechanic or else the warranty was void. The trucks 4x4 transfer case was damaged and we took it to a transmission shop.
