Universal Moving and Storage is threatening to auction EVERYTHING they picked up from my home on Dec 23rd, 2009! Once they jacked up the weight and demanded $10, 091.00, they NEVER considered reweighing or addressing our challenge. Zero negotiation or arbitration. Regardless of how the situation is resolved (with help from FMCSA and AMSA) they said they will NOT deliver. Assuming everything is there in one piece, I will have to pay a “new” mover to pick up and deliver my goods. Avoid them!!! I attached a pic of their "office" door in Canoga Park, CA.
