I worked in retail for seven years so I do not consider myself an unreasonable person when it comes to customer service. However, when I had to stand at the Clinique counter today (in Belks) for 20 minutes while the employee chatted with two elderly women, I got extremely irritated. I got even more so when the two other women working in the different cosmetic sections just blankly stared at me.
