I actually work at a payday loan company and know how they're supposed to work. This company gives you a payday loan for $200.00 and then charges you $76.00 every two weeks. I never received a contract or explained how the process worked. Since I work in the industry, I thought it worked the way all of the payday loans here in VA work. I would never have imagined that they can continue to take out $76.00 every two weeks indefinitely. I received the $200.00 loan 10/14. Since then I have paid 7 pmts and still owe $276.00.
