My loan was transferred to Bank of America when it acquired Countrywide. I signed up for a payment plan whereas I am paying each week of the year and along with the posting on a weekly basis I would gain a total of about 9 years. When I reviewed my statement on line I saw that even tough I am still paying weekly the posting is now done monthly.
