DIRECTV has always been a crafty bait-and-switch group that hides behind "packages" to cover extra fees. I have had a basic package for years and through another ploy of theirs, pro-rated payment, I pay roughly $80 per month. I received a call from a rep offering FREE NFL Ticket and HBO/STARS (The have some fancy package name) and having been burned before, asked multiple times if I would be charged.
