Went to have taxes amended in July 09 after purchasing my house just like i was told by real estate agent. Paid liberty tax $125 to file the amendment. They told me it would be 6 to 8 weeks before i got my check. well at the end of week 8 i had not heard anything so i call the IRS, and they tell me that my amendment was rejected for missing paperwork. i had to refile and now the wait period was 12-16 weeks.
