I am AFRAID OF THESE PEOPLE. We refinanced our home in an emergency situation in 2004 with Ameriquest, who WAS sued in Class Action for consumer fraud (we found that out after they sold our mortgage to CitiResidential, and we received letters from the Texas Attorney General). Two months after refinancing our home of 26 years, my husband had two heart attacks, and two months after that, I had a bleed stroke that left me paralyzed and disabled in a wheelchair before I was 50.
