Although we told our agent that we did not want to continue our expiring term life policies, they were continued anyway with exorbitant rate increases. Thanks to our carelessness, LBL extracted a huge amount of money from our checking account using the automatic withdrawals set up for the expiring policies and did not send us any statements to let us know this was happening.
