My Mother recently applied to rescue a puppy chihuahua from Pixie Mamas Rescue. I had met the dog through the foster parent who was on her way to bring the dog to the rescue. I knew my mother wanted to adopt a puppy to keep her senior dog company and I fell in love with this dog. The foster mom told me that the dog would have to receive it's shots and be nuetered before adoption could take place and that the pixie mama rescue (Barb Backhaus) would be in touch.
