Today my NX500X laptop power cord died, my warranty ends Saturday 2/7/09. I looked up my system on Gateway to see my warranty had been sold to MPC. I tried for hours to contact them via telephone to find they have closed/filed Chapter 11. Called Gateway warranty department and sat on hold for 3hrs, 25min before hanging up. I then called Gateway and selected the option to purchase a new computer, someone picked up in less than 10 seconds. (Nice way to treat already existing customers, Gateway) I vented and now am sharing my anger with you all. Looks like I'll start shopping for an apple/Mac. read full review »
