When in Cairo I needed a local gym to do my daily workout. I found a Gold's gym in Maadi. I asked for a day pass which Diana at front desk quoted a rate of 110 egyptian pounds (about 2o US dollors).The average rate is between 5 to 10 dollors. I paid the outrageous amount for two consecutive days. After finding out that I paid this amount on the third day they decided lets milk that sucker for extra money. Mr Tarek the manager decided to raise the price to 130 egyptian pounds that morning. Stating that the previous two days were supposed to be 130 but the front desk receptionist never knew about it.
