Had a brand new furnace and AC unit installed - the units were not properly tested or adjusted. It is a two stage furnace and some of the wires for the thermostat were broke for the second stage to work properly, the installers never properly tested the unit to see if the second stage would even work. I complained to the owner of the company, so he stopped out and had to adjust the gas valve, because it was never adjusted. He was the one that noticed that the wires were broke.
