I opened an account online with B of A. To do so they require that you deposit $25 in order to open the account. I transferred that from my Wells Fargo acct, and the transaction showed up immediately on my Wells Fargo account. A week later I was sent a statement saying my account had been opened, had a balance of $25 and here was my debit card. A few weeks later I made an $18 purchase.
