I went online to get my 3 free credit reports and was charged $24.95 and $39.95 for the reports, even though the website stated that the reports were free if you cancelled the membership within 9 days. I got the repports on 2/06 and cancelled on 2/10. That seems like within 9 days, but I guess I can't count. When I complained, they said I had used the service so I had to pay for it. I have sent letters to my credit card company and Experian's address given to me by the very nice but completely clueless operator I spoke with at Experian. We will see what comes of it.
