I was often underpaid. Most times, the vendor pays the sales tax. For example, you often have to haul thirty to forty pounds of drinks, snacks, and food up and down the aisles of places like Giants Stadium or PNC in New Jersey. When a customer purchases a soda for $4.50 there is a sales tax, depending on how much in each state, that is covered by the vendor. The customer pays the whole price, and the vendor gets 15% of all sales minus the sales tax and the remainder goes to Canvas Corporation.
