I purchased a car in 2005 through Drive. It was wrecked and totalled in 2007. I only had about 13 payments left. Drive was paid in full for this car from my insurance company. I got a call a few days ago saying that I still owed on this car and that Drive had sold my account to this company for collection. I have the papers to prove the car was paid in full. So how can Drive get away with this? Any suggestions? I am open to them... I have sent sopies of my pay off to the collection sompany but they say they only go by what Drive has sent them.
