I've used TurboTax in the past and it always has been pretty easy and hassle free. Not this year. In past years, I have done enough supplemental freelance work to have to file self-employment income. Along with this filing comes a Schedule C form for miscellaneous self-employment income. I did not have enough supplemental income this year to file self-employment taxes, but based on previous years' filings through TurboTax, the software keeps insisting that I fill out a Schedule C form.
