Bought a Sears Kenmore Elite Trio refrigerator in May of 2004. Worked fine until this week. The compressor died for no apparent reason. $750 to fix. We're buying a new Whirlpool for $799 instead. We bought a Philco refer in 1969 for $75.00 that was built in 1956. When we sold our home in 1986, that refer went with the home and was still working after 30 years.
