I asked Sears to come and service a dishwasher they installed 4 years ago. The repairman said the dishwasher was fine but plumbing bad. I then had a plumber come and check the pipes all the way back to the unit. He found the check valve installed with the machine 2" from the dishwasher was broken and stuck in the shut position.
