I had a Verizon bill around 150 due to my sons father would not pay his half. At the time I was unaware of small claims court. I did not pay the bill. Today is Monday and almost 10 years ago, I get a letter saying i owe $1672.09. What the h--- is wrong with this place? Why is the federal Government not shutting these guys down. It's over 7 years old and not even on my credit report. I bought a home and a car.
