Ventilating fan broke down after less than 2 years ( 3 year warranty). Called Panasonic, expecting it to be replaced (as it was about $100, I didn't expect it to be repaired). I was told (get this) that I would have to hire an electrician to take the fan apart to determine which part is bad; then they would send me a replacement part and the electrician would have to install this part.
