A few years ago my ex husband and I had a join account at wells fargo. I had never banked there before but he had an account there and felt comfortable keeping them as his bank, so I switched over to them. From day one we had problems. I was very ill at the time and they would NOT let us open a join account with out me there even with him bringing in legal documents of our marriage, my birth certificate and my ID cards.
