I enrolled in freecreditreport.com to obtain a FREE credit report. The site requested a credit card number, but very specifically stated that my credit card would not be charged. I had a nine day free trial period, however my card was charged the next day for $24.95. When I called to inquire I was told that I was charged because I "mistakenly" clicked on an option for which there was a fee.
