Wine Coolers are not the only Magic Chef appliances to have bad compressors. I purchased a small Magic Chef refrigerator in September of 2006 in which the compressor freezes. The warranty for this part is 5 years, however I have to pay for labor, $300. I can purchase 2 new refrigerators for that price, definitely not Magic Chef.
