Rarely do I ever have to contact Direct TV unless I want to upgrade. One of my receivers is broken and I pay a Protection Plan ($5.99 a month). I asked that they replace it and they won't. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the supervisor said that they aren't going to replace it. I asked that they upgrade a receiver to an HD and they said it was $99.00.
