We decided to cancel service after the contract period expired, Brinks/Broadview charged a $500 "Seized System" disconnect fee to have it disconnected. They also charge $500 to keep the system in your home as an unmonitored unit (perimter arming only). Either way they charge $500 when you cancel service even if the contract is expired. We cancelled after 7 loyal years with Brinks/Broadview and they said it would be $500 to keep the system in our home for unmonitored use.
