I purchased a Fridaire washer and dryer set from HHGregg . I paid to have the merchandise delivered to my house. When the delivery people showed up, they informed me that they would not be able to take the washer/dryer down to the basement because the staircase was too narrow and the stove was too close to the door. They told me I would have to move the stove, not just turn it sideways and shut off the gas. They said I would have to remove the trim from the basement door and the railing into the basement.
