This is but the first in a series of absurdities. I had sent a single email asking whether I might replace ethics with another class, as I preferred to take ethics in a less "compressed" time period. I was informed the other class was not available. That was the end of the matter. I had never sent a request to the drop/add email address, nor did I send any request of any kind requesting that I be dropped from the class.
