Several years ago I set up automated clearing house (ACH) payments to JPMorgan Chase for a home mortgage loan. Last November I refinanced and paid off that loan, and soon thereafter received from JPMorgan Chase documentation releasing the lien, as well as my funds in escrow. However, they have continued to take ACH payments from my checking account each month since then. These are ACH payments pulled by JPMorgan Chase, not bill payments pushed out by my bank.
