Went grocery shopping @ the same store (Kroger), have been shopping/check writing @ for over 25 years without incident. Today my check was refused because I was told I had a returned check. I have never had a returned check, but despite my wanting to pursue this @ the store, I was handed a number to call "certegy" Was only able to reach a computer-voiced response telling me I hadn't "bounced" a check but my check was refused for "security/potential fraud reasons.
